AGN2NP is a macro for the Macsys system from Tom Dolbilin.
The macro allows you to add your Agenda entries to a Notepad file of
your choice. These files can be both .PAD and .EXP type.
Following Agneda entry types are supported:
Type 1 - timed day entry / appointment
Type 2 - untimed day entry / note
Type 3 - anniversaries
Type 4 - ToDo entires.

Depending on if the above entries have a date or not AGN2NP will allow
you to save this date as due date for Notepad.

To add an Agenda entry to your Notepad file, you have to put the cursor on
the note you want to add and press the Hotkey that you assigned to this
macro (see Installation). Then you will be asked for the name of the
Notepad file to which you will write this entry. The macro can only be
started from Agenda !
Now AGN2NP will close your Agenda file and, if the selected Notepad file
is in use, also the Notepad task. All closed tasks are restarted at the
end of the macro and Agenda is set to the view it was in before it was
closed.
AGN2NP searches in the Agenda file for the entry you selected and reads
the date for the entry.
If the entry is an aniversary the year will be set to the actual year. If the
entry is a repeated entry, the date will be set to the actual day.
Then you are presented with a dialog 'Project Options' like in Notepad.
Here you can change the Priority for the entry, the date and if you want
to save the entry with a due date.

NOTE: In some occasions there may be what seems a strange date. This
happens if you have entries with the same text, but which aren't repeated
entries. AGN2NP will find only the first one.

Now the macro adds the entry to your Notepad file and to the Project file.

That's all.

INSTALLATION:

As usual with this type of macro, copy it into your \macro\mco\ directory
and press <Psion>i from the Macro-Application screen to install the macro.
Now must assign the Hotkey that you want to use to call the macro from
Agenda.
